APPLICATION INFO - iPhoneアプリの詳細情報
Developed for health care professionals that are interested in a deeper understanding of the right heart catheterization (RHC) procedure, pressures, and conditions that effect the heart and pressure.
This app is a mobile solution for an interactive real-time exploration into the RHC procedure. RHC is one of the first hands-on procedures interventional physicians perform as residents and fellows. Confidence and experience gained from simulated training can help make their first procedure successful and decrease risk to patients.
The app uses rendered 3D anatomy to illustrate the anatomical process producing pressure wave readings during a procedure. Utilize fluoroscopy mode and on-screen catheter controls to simulate the cath lab environment for realistic training. Users can perform a procedure and take readings with 4 common results and 3 pathologies they may not have had access to previously.
Features & Benefits
• Mobile platform allows individualized simulation training on personal devices so each user can access training anytime and anywhere.
• Guided walk-throughs of each case explain what causes changes to pressure waves for self-learning without the need for proctoring.
• Normal vs. pathology overlays make it easy to visually compare differences in pressure change that would otherwise need to be imagined.
• Rendered 3D real-time interactive anatomy provides spatial and anatomical understanding of what causes pressure wave changes and helps with retention.
• Real-time fluoroscopy mode & on-screen catheter controls simulate the cath lab environment for realistic training.
• Test mode allows users to complete a case using fluoro without assistance, make a diagnosis, and receive feedback on performance, helping with retention and identifying knowledge gaps.
Training Objectives
• Understand what causes the pressure waves for each area of a RHC procedure.
• Identify and understand pressure waves from mitral regurgitation (MR), pulmonary hypertension (PH), and tricuspid regurgitation.
• Learn best practices for balloon management during a RHC procedure.
• Explore the right heart anatomy to gain spatial understanding of the procedure.
Case Layout
• 1 healthy case
• 3 different patient pathologies
