RC Gear Calculator Pro

Most calculators just give you a number, like “your gear ratio is 5.72”, but what does that number mean?



RC Gear Calculator Pro lets you enter your current gears and the gears you’re changing to, so you can see that it’s a 15% change in ratio (for example), which is much more useful when determining how much load your motor can handle or how much it will affect your car's speed and acceleration.


Aside from the primary ratio, you can also see your Final Drive Ratio (useful for all cars, but definitely for touring cars) and Rollout (useful for cars with foam tires.) Use simple sliders to test pinions and spurs until you get the ratios you want.
