Iron Counter and Tracker

Iron plays a critical role in distributing oxygen (energy) to all body tissues, and additional iron is needed during pregnancy to meet the energy needs of the growing baby.
Iron deficiency results in a general lack of energy, and can cause heart and muscle damage when oxygen delivery to the heart and muscles decreases. It is common among menstruating women as a result of blood loss, and also among vegetarians and vegans whose consumption is restricted because fish and meat are rich sources of iron.
The app will set a default daily iron target for you based on your age, sex, and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding. You can change this target at any time, for example if you have been advised to restrict iron intake due to hemochromatosis.
Watch your progress towards your target daily intake every day in real-time as you use the keypad or speech recognition if available (touch the microphone icon) to record your food and beverage intake.
You can also view your progress over time on your Month view dashboard, and export your food diaries into a spreadsheet for your own information or to share with your healthcare provider.
Apple's HealthKit functionality is integrated in the app's user interface so you can share your data with Apple's Health app. You can also synchronize the app with all your Apple devices.
The foods and amounts you eat can be recorded easily and quickly using speech recognition or by favoriting (touch broken heart icon) foods and using the serving sizes provided (which you can change to your serving sizes if different).

The interface is easy, quick, and intuitive to navigate, but it can be useful to familiarise yourself with the full functionality of the app by touching the icons, words, and bars on every screen and swiping the top gray bar left and right on the Tracker screen.
No internet, registration, personal details or additional payments are required.
